Hey Michel, sorry to be out of the loop. I have been on sabbatical from CSC and am over my head busy in re-building my cabin before the snow shuts us out (we already got over 3 feet). So, come December, I’ll be back on line. Look forward to hearing about all your changes!

Thank you for the welcome, Michel. To be able to exchange thoughts with those from other cultures is especially enriching. To be honest, I have no background in math or science so any appreciation or understanding of ‘quantum’ is purely intuitive and imaginative, not scientific. Maybe it is my Celtic heritage that has caused me to always be intrigued by the intersection of the spirit and material worlds. To find at last a movement that embraces the insoluble union of the two is a great comfort. I especially want to find others who see the application of this understanding to the crises we face. Western culture (and American institutions, in particular) reflects such a utilitarian, pragmatic, exploitive view of the Earth and its peoples and resources. It seems that nothing short of a paradigm shift in consciousness will be able to arrest the destructive direction of these times. But to reach the masses with the ideas of Thomas Berry or Matthew Fox is daunting and time is short if one believes, as I do, that the planet and its precious cargo can no longer tolerate such violence and disregard.
