How did you come to discover Creation Spirituality?

I had a teacher at the Australian Catholic University who introduced me to Matthew Fox's work in a class on "Religion and Ecology."

I kept reading both Matt's work and many of the other people Matt points to, and eventually, when I found myself living in the US, studied with Matt.

What is your first language?

I think one of the gifts of Creation Spirituality is that it can nurture people coming and going in different directions. For some, CS enables a crawling away from something toxic; for others, it invites a deepening and reconnecting with something...

When you wear an Australian outback hat like this one here in the US it seems to mean that you are more a of a sophisticated slightly urban guy who may be a little rough around the edges but doesn't have to go poking around with cows .... so I thought I could change my image from the old "unsophisticated" ball cap stuff I had been wearing.
