Am behind in writing a short column for my church newsletter, and in writing some (at the moment private) thoughts about the tension (in my mind) between Safe Congregation policies and the need to foster environments of loving risk-taking.
I have also found how heady it is when I find people with whom I can have these coversations. Ahhh ... The power of desire is beautiful :) That's why I am now leaving the computer and going for a walk.

I think the central point of OB is that you are a blessing, a gift, a created, creative creature with the capacity to feel immense love, joy, pain; with unique gifts that cry out to be shared; and with a responsibility to yourself and all of creation to confront injustice. You could start a discussion on that very question - you'd get some interesting and different answers.
