I am learning first hand a bout being emptied these days and I find it very interesting that pain that is emptying me is considered "wrong' or "sin" or "poor judgement" on my part. At first it created a real embarrassment for me till I looked to my Buddhist friends who remind me pain and suffering are part of life. So Deep, So Intense, and so strange to move from the positive to the negative.
I find myself drawn to the idea that we are to infatuated with light and that we have tried to find ways to eliminate the darkness, to explain it away instead of embracing it. Yet Fox makes a great point in the fact that we were created in the dark. The idea out chaos comes creativity but for me the struggle is how to grow n not shrink in the dark.
