Gunilla Norris writes in Mystic Garden, "The garden is a place for learning patience, letting go of our need to control, and losing our expectations of how things will turn out in the end.
This is a place for writers in the Creation Spirituality Communities to gather, share their work, collaborate, share their struggles with "the muse", develop projects, laugh, dance, and celebrate the written word.

Helen,
Welcome!
My two favorite books by Matthew are Passion For Creation (The Earth-Honoring Spirituality of Meister Eckhart), and A Spirituality Named Compassion. All of his books are wonderful but I found that Passion For Creation resonated with…

I look forward to seeing you later this month Mausa. If you e-mail me at sevans@mindspring.com and give me your e-mail addesss, I will add you to the One RIver e-mail neswletter list. I had a meeting yesterday with Eve Ilson (Rabbi Schachter's wife) planning our upcoming One River celebration - and I think it will be great!
I visited your page, because I'm always interested to learn more about what brought other people to Creation Spirituality and to this site. I'm always interested in people's stories of their spiritual journeys and find it kind of cool that your spiritual director suggested Matthew Fox's books. I attend an Episcopal church and though I'd heard of Matthew Fox before, I hadn't really connected with any of his books. But in conversation with my Priest, I also work in the office so there are plenty of opportunities for conversation, she mentioned his name, often, in repsonse to things I would say during those conversations. I finally got my hands on his recording, Radical Prayer, which seems to draw from a number of his books, and just finished listening to it in the past day or two. I found that I resonated with so much of what he said, either in its familiarity or in how right it sounded. It really helped me to hear him speak. I'm now primed to read more.
Thanks for your welcome and your suggestions.
Helen
