Marlisa, great love story. I believe the dance of love is where absolutism and relativeness embrace and give birth to compassion. Happy ressurrection, small r.

I'm flying in Tuesday. Have family in Waynesville and Brevard, so I get best of both worlds. See you soon.

Hi Marlisa,
So sorry it took so long to respond back to you. I just discovered that you'd written to me tonight. Guess I haven't quite figured out how this website works yet. I'm so looking forward to meeting you in July. How wonderful that you live in Maine part time also and that you'll be coming back here in September. Looks like we have a great deal in common. My plan was to move to Asheville and join the Jub. community, that's needed to be postponed but perhaps later...

Hi Marlisa,
I just registered for the conference in July and am so looking forward to it and returning to the jubilee community. I use to drive up there occasionally from Columbia, SC (where I used to live) when ever I felt I could get away. I was always touched when I attended servcies and sometimes felt a little 'saved' too. I remember once attending a service, feeling empty and sad because I had recently learned that my unmarried 19 year old daughter (and only child) was pregnant. I tried very hard to allow the mystery and magic that so often permeated the space to flow through me but it wasn't happening. Then I heard Howard Hanger talk about "a crazy baby born to an unwed teenage mother" who came into the world and changed it. Suddenly, tears came to my eyes and I thought to myself, "wow, I have a crazy baby who will be birthed by an unwed teenage mother and who will change my world, and bless it." Something inside me shifted just then and I looked forward to Skylar's birth from that moment on. And my crazy baby (who is now two) has blessed my world over and over and the jubilee community sort of 'saved' me yet again.
How fortunate you are to be part of jubilee...

Hi Marlisa,
Glad to see you here! I had a wonderful meeting with three of our mutual friends recently - Beekeeper Sister J, Linda M. and Byron B. at a nonprofit mgmt workshop on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We promised to get together soon to catch up and to invite you to come along! Also, I hope to post a photo of our precious friend Patte Mitchell soon. I miss her so dearly and hardly a day passes that I don't recall a nugget of wisdom she so freely shared with us all while on this journey. Am sure shedances @ universe.sky

Look forward to seeing you soon for tea and also at the Jubilee event this summer!

Blessings,
Ina.

Marlisa, thanks for the comment. I may not be timely, but I keep looking. I think my kids are better at social networking... but I'll get up to speed. Looking forwarding to an in-person hello.
Peace,

Hi Marlisa: This is Bonnie-kate here in Maine. I want very much to come to the July event. Are there any reasonable accomodations there? I have been interested in checking out Asheville for a long time. My husband and I are interested in maybe relocating at a future date.

I've heard so much about Black Mountain because of M.C. Richards and others who taught at the college there. It must be beautiful.
