Staying Catholic while no longer in communion with Rome. Exploring Creation Spirituality, Catholicism, Franciscan Spirituality, and Valentianian Spirituality to find a new way forward.
How did you come to discover Creation Spirituality?
I accidentally ran across the Rev. Dr. Matthew Fox's writings in a book store while searching aimlessly for some hope and connection to a religion or spirituality that worked, and it just clicked!
How would you briefly describe your spirituality? (Be creative! Don't worry if it only seems to make sense to you - we love the diverse and the hard-to-explain!)
Earth-centered Episcopalian, I feel the connections to the seasons and so much more, and believe that my worship is done not just in the church I attend but outside and through my creations!
What is your first language?
English

Hi Lance, Welcome! I often describe how I used to wander through New Age Bookstores and books would yell at me to buy them. It's how I found Matt also - and it's been a great connection ever since. Consider joining the hidden spirituality of men group also. We are just starting to read and discuss Matt's book. Tom
I just read your answer to the question about how you describe your spirituality. Do you mind if I borrow your descrip? I too am an Earth/ Creation, centered Episcopalian out here on the west side of the U.S.
Oh, and I forgot...Welcome to CSC. It's a pretty great "cyber-place"
Welcome to Anam Cara, Connecting with God in Nature and Book Reviews. Glad to have you in these groups.
May you be blessed with good fortune in general and in your jobsearch specifically. My husband and I are both looking for full-time work. Not an easy task to accomplish these days.
I don't think it took the first time....Welcome Lance!!!! Tell me about the history of your last name: Reynolds; I'm in that club too and my daughter and I are working extensively to discover our genealogy
Lance, sounds like you've come to the right place. You'd be surprised how many people stumble upon books "accidentally." Matt Fox actually told me once he thinks that bookstores are where angels like to hang out and cause mischief. I think he was only partially kidding :)
