Hildegard de Bingen wrote, "Every creature is a glistening, glittering mirror of divinity." May the Divinity in each of us and in and through all of creation hold the sorrows and joys of the community.
How did you come to discover Creation Spirituality?
Matthew Fox spoke at an Institute for Justice and Peace Symposium at my college (Walsh University in N. Canton, OH) in the early 80's. A discussion/support group grew out of the people (like Steve Torma) who resonated with CS there. When I saw the fruits of the Spirit alive in Steve and others involved with the CS movement, I had to learn more, and found language and living that aligned with my heart.
How would you briefly describe your spirituality? (Be creative! Don't worry if it only seems to make sense to you - we love the diverse and the hard-to-explain!)
I seek to experience the Divine in all things, and also of course no-things. I am inspired to love and have compassion for all; to discover and use my gifts creatively for the service of all; to continually deepen my own transformation/growth so that I might best contribute to the birth of beauty, forgiveness, understanding, justice, and communion in my circle of influence.
What is your first language?
English (is this a trick question? maybe really it's laughter and music and touch)
