Hi I will be finishing my degree in 6 weeks and will be so grateful to own my time again. Sorry to be so scarce in the meantime.

Hi Jacqui, I am glad I found the time today to read your blog. Your insight into how we must struggle against the god described as planning an apocalyptical event was great-- it is a no-win situation if the plan is already in motion, as has been ...

Thank you Oliver that is so very interesting and yes does take the sting out of the idea.

Hello there! I agree with many of your observations and conclusions, for sure. It should be noted, though, that back in that time when the King James Version of things was published and was the "approved" hand book so to say, that the term or word...

Oh... I agree so much! I had a vision, and it is of Gaia, our beloved Mother Earth. She is alive, and we are her breath. Literally. I saw her breathing in, and souls were drawn into her. I saw her breathing out, and souls were leaving her. We are ...

Jacqui, you are aware of the evil in the world and refuse to dwell on it. By doing so, you allow your pollyanna voice to express beauty and joy. " Joy is the sign of the presence of God within you," Teillard de Chardin.

Hey Jacqui - thanks for these thoughts. I notice you come back to the I AM motif in some of your poetry, too, which reminds me strongly of the same things that Peter has said (above). Also very much the Cosmic Christ... Your words are very alive,...

Pollyanna

Do you murder the good in your life? I tend to go through my world expecting things to turn out right. I expect the sun to shine on party days. I expect the service people in the shop to want to help me. I expect the flowers to be blooming enthusiastically. I expect you to find something to take away and think about each time I write. I have in short become an optimist.

I haven't always been. Recently in a late night chat I realised how easy it is to destroy the good in life. The ang… Continue

The Namaste Principle.

The Namaste Principle - The answer to eliminating violence in our world?

In South Africa we live in what is known as a culture of violence. I was recently involved in a debate on whether humankind is inherently violent. The consensus was yes. If you are pushed into a corner in which you yourself or a member of your family is in danger your last and inherent reaction is to fight. If there were an alternate inherent way to react it would present itself at your point of greatest stress. In order t… Continue

Sacred and Profane.

Some things are sacred. Spirit, Sex, Intimacy, Nature, Relationships, the Essence of Humanity, for me these are sacred.

Then there is the profane. Violating peoples rights, destruction of human dignity, slavery, pollution, revenge, spite, malicious intent, abuse of people, abuse of power. These are all intertwined with one another. I am sure there are more things I could put in each category.

Awareness and being in the moment are important to me and cause me to be aware of what is sacred or pr… Continue

Moving away from a god and acknowledging all things as divine.

God is dead said Nietzsche .
Nietzsche is dead said god.
You are both dead I said.

But I AM.

I AM all you both blessed the world with.
I am part of the philosopher gods of the future.
All my thinking, all my conclusions
All my confusion, all my pain.
All my progress and all my failure,
I bequeath to you, humankind, on your evolutionary journey.

As each person, each 'I AM' presses into the unknowable, finding truth,
As each 'I AM' wrestles with pain and disappointment, finding resilience and c… Continue

Growing

I received the Holy Spirit when I was 10 years old and I speak three angelic languages purportedly associated with that experience. I have had many 'spiritual' experiences related to my faith in the Christian god and my belief that the holy spirit was my spiritual guide. I have the gifts of being able to encourage, inspire and move people towards a greater spirituality or towards god. I have also spent my life in service of god under the guidance of the holy spirit. The Christian teachings were… Continue

Hi Jacqui--
Thanks for your poems today.
Your deforested lansdscape is a rich reminder to me of the beauty we forget to honour. AS I experience change, and letting go. it helps to be reminded that what we leave behind continues creating in ways that have their own purpose.
I would like to share this with one of the committees I am working with.
Blessings and peace,
Wendy

Hi Jacqui. Welcome. Thanks for your kind words on my wall. Hopefully you will enjoy being a part of this interesting crowd, and who knows, maybe in time we'll uncover some more folks who are with you in geography as well as in spirit.

Blessings to you,
Matt
