I have yet to read the book but I have been blessed to have 2 persons in my life refer to me as their anam cara.  Looking forward to the book and to connecting with all in this community.  Blessings!

"any time there is joy and freedom in spirit a sacred space is created." That is an awesome statement, Lamar. Best wishes for Dillon's European audition. RE jigs & reels: check out Scottish musician Jimmy Shand (now Sir Jimmy Shand). I have an old tape of his that just gets my feet to tapping. Here are a couple of websites: and

Sounds wonderful Aine! Where is the Ceili? Is it by invitation only or open to the public? I would like to know if its close by. My son Dillon is a dancer with Nashville Ballet II and hopes to audition in Europe this Summer. This weekend (the 27th) is his birthday as a matter of fact. Awesome to hear about your daughter! its so much fun to jig and reel! Lamar

It is my belief that any time there is joy and freedom in spirit a sacred space is created. Whether that be a smile or an acknowledgement of the all there is it can happen. Whether it be the medium of music or poetry, laughter, the space is created. The manifestation is created whether we "see" it or not. Most of the times we see it but forget what it looks like. When I see my daughter smile or my son dance its always there.

The Celtic harp was loaned to Claire from someone in Florida. She has two of her own in Ireland but neither travel well. Sorry, that's all I know.

A sacred space was created there in the Smoky Mountain Community Theater that was very mystical and magical. Every now and then there are spiritual manifestations left behind. Did you notice the orbs in the picture after the concert? They are angelic in nature and are a reminder when that space is created then we are never alone. (No, it wasn't the light or the lens on the camera. : ) Blessings, Lamar
