2010 CSC Gathering

This is just a save-the-date announcement for next year. Clink the link to register for the event and get details as they develop. In the meantime feel free to check in and discuss!

Dates: Thurs., June 17th (5:00 p.m.)-Sun., June 20th(noon).

Additional opportunities at or near Mercy:
*University of Creation Spirituality (UCS) Reunion is planned Thursday, June 17th (9-5)
*2010 WU graduation ceremony 2:00 on Saturday, June 19th
*Additional CS class offerings on Monday, June 21st (9-5)

The CSC Event is still in the early planning stages, but here are some early details:

· Theme One River, Many Wells...celebrating the many wells of spirit from which the participants draw for their Great Work. Note: Please bring a 3 oz. vial of water from a source close to where you live or a place that is sacred to you to add to our common bowl for our opening and closing ritual. You may also desire to bring something to add to the 4 path altars and a drum or other noisemaker.

Discerning ways in which we can continue to build the CSCs connection, nurture, mutual support network.

· Keynote speakers
Starhawk and Rev. Matthew Fox, Ph.D.
· Inspirational Speakers
Richard Rossiter and Deidre Combs
· Body Prayer and Art-as-Meditation Class….Russill Paul
· Art-as-Meditation-- Kaleo and Elise Ching, "Altar of Connectedness"
· Friday night Cosmic Ritual
· Displays on CS Communities
· Resource Room with art/music/books/jewelry/natural products, etc. presented by participants

Mercy Center is a beautiful facility. While it is only about 10 minutes from the San Francisco airport in an urban center, its grounds are extensive which gives it a wooded setting. There is an outdoor labyrinth and fine meeting facilities. The order which runs it is very open and accommodating. Housing will be in single rooms with shared bathroom facilities.

Wow! I have been reviewing plans for June everything looks terrific! Somebodies have been hard at work, terrific job. I am definitely inspired to figure out how I can get there........

I like Bill's suggestion. I would like to see a save the date email sent to the registration list from Asheville. If we (CSC) still has a registration email list from Indiana and California events, I'd suggestion a save the date email to those lists as well... ah, I guess this is a suggestion for the marketing committee when it forms. Mary, thanks for posting this. Everyone else (and Mary) we need to get the word out on this so that people will get the date into their calendars. We are trying to minimize costs and loss of trees this year by marketing as much as possible through social media. Please keep your contacts informed as details of this event unfold! If you have access to e-mail lists, etc., where this information should be shared, please let the planning committee know so that we can maximize our broadcast.

Vunderbar! So great to have the gathering back on the "left" coast. I'll be driving down from Eugene. And I'll bet I can get Brian to join me - he had a great time at Mills College reconnecting with his IONS buddies.
